When you contact us we will supply you with a price list, fill in this form outlining your desired pieces and embellishments. Don’t forget to read over our range of options that you may wish to include. When this is returned to us we will create a detailed estimate. All of our estimates are clearly itemised, making it easy to stay within your budget by seeing the cost of each individual item.

Our price lists include design fees for Collection designs. These are the designs that you see in our Collection gallery. Of course wording is variable to suit your specific requirements, just choose your favourite and we can customise it to suit your special day, choose the ink to complement your colour scheme, change the fonts and select your preferred stock colour, all for no added cost. A Collection design also reduces the time required to create your design. If you wish to take the design further there are additional options to personalise each design: add an envelope liner, return address envelopes or corner rounding just to name a few.

A custom design opens up a world of possibilities. We work tirelessly to create something wonderful and unique just for you. If you would like a custom design, an additional fee will be added to your estimate when you have confirmed the pieces you require in your stationery suite but we don’t put a limit on the number of revisions allowed. We want you to be 100% over the moon with your design, so if we don’t get it spot on the first time, we keep working until you are doing a little happy dance in your seat.
Note: to help us with the custom process we love seeing designs that you like and any images that are inspiring the look and feel of your wedding, however we cannot copy a design from another artist or company. This is an infringement on their copyright. Any design you show us will be used only as inspiration and all designs we produce are designed for you by us. We have a copyright notice here to protect our own work, as do most companies. We hope you understand why any request to copy will be refused.

When you are happy with your estimate, just notify us that you wish to move forward with your order. We will send you your deposit invoice (40% of the estimate total) and our client brief form. Here is where we get to know you and your partner, the more we get to know you, the more we feel we are working with old friends and designing your stationery becomes a very personal process. You can include any inspirations you may want us to consider in the customisation of your chosen design.

We send all invoices via email. These include details for direct debit payment or via credit card. Please review your invoice carefully to ensure all of the details of your order are correct. Any embellishments or items not included in the invoice will not be included with your order. But if alterations to inclusions, quantities or such need to be made, this must be done prior to printing your order.

For all Collection and custom printing orders we supply the invoice in a minimum of two parts, a 40% design deposit and the remaining balance prior to commencement of printing. Exceptions to this payment plan may occur if you have a extensive additional pieces that are not required until the day of your event, eg. menus and place cards etc.

For all supplied design printing we require 100% payment prior to printing.

We should now we have everything we need to commence the design of your invitation. Initially we work only on the invitation design, as the star of the entire suite it’s important to get it just right. Once we have the invitation perfected we move onto the design of the remaining pieces by applying your approved design elements. For a Collection design a total of 2-3 weeks is usually required for the entire process to be sure you aren’t rushed with your decisions. For custom designs the process can take up to 6 weeks, depending upon the complexity of the design and the number of pieces in your suite.

For both custom and Collection designs, there is no limit on the number of proofs allowed, our goal is to be sure you are 100% delighted with the design, not concerned with increasing editing fees. We send digital PDF proofs of your invitation suite by email for your approval. For a smooth and simple process it is preferable that we receive all of your edits in a single email per proof. Please note that each computer screen or printer cannot give a 100% accurate representations of Pantone colours or our selection of colours compared to the final colour when letterpress printed.

When all pieces are designed we will issue you with a final approval form and an invoice for the remaining balance of your stationery. When you have returned your signed approval and your payment has cleared we order the plates for your stationery, we hand mix the inks and we get down to the fun part.

Proofs are extremely important as the final approved proof is used to generate your plates, these cannot be altered once they have been cast.

By approving this final proof you agree that all text and design are correct exactly as shown with no further changes necessary. Please proofread slowly and very carefully. Once you approve your proofs, there can be no additional edits for spelling, punctuation or content without incurring additional costs for new plates, or if necessary, reprinting.

The printing process generally takes 4-5 weeks. We then trim, wrap and pack your stationery with the utmost care.  All packages will be sent by a specified delivery date with tracking and will require a signature on delivery. Please be sure your delivery address will an adult available to sign. Should the address be unattended at the time of delivery the package will be diverted to your nearest Post Office, pick up will require the notification left for you and personal identification. You will be able to follow the progress of your delivery via the tracking number provided to you once your order has shipped.
